harbri Posted October 31, 2008 Share Posted October 31, 2008 Hi, After a lot of experimenting with different boot methods and kexts on my Gigabyte EP35-DS4 motherboard I now have a perfectly working hackintosh with working Software Update. I used the Boot from EFI partition bootmethod from Munky and used as little hacked kexts as possible needed to get my board running perfectly. For the AHCI- and Network kexts I used the Legacy plist method from Cyclonefr so that future updates won't mess up my kexts. The only thing not included is onboard audio as I have an external USB-soundcard which is working out of the box in OSX and therefore I disabled the onboard audio in my BIOS. Attached to this message you'll find the kexts which are currently in my /Volumes/EFI/Extensions folder, it should work for anyone with the same motherboard.
