kaossalami
Well ive tryed so many kernals and loaders and booters, including kalyway, but the only one seemed to work was iDeneb v.1.3 Well, i press f12 to boot from cd i boot from the cd and the apple logo shows up on the screen and then it starts loading, with a circle of dots saying its loading and thats it... it was stuck on that screen for 3 hours, no stop or do not enter sign or anything, im not sure, i tryed -v and that didnt give me any errors, ive waited more than 3 hours and it still doesnt work...any ideas? Im running on a dell inspirion 1720, 8400GM nVideo GPU. Intel centrino Duo processor.
nbm_clan
I did a few installs of iDeneb 1.1 (er... the 10.5.4 version, whichever that is). I noticed it would hang if there was an existing OSX install on the drive. If I blew away the partition table (w/ a linux install CD or whatever) it would then boot fine. But it turned out that drive was probably bad, which may have been part of the problem. For reference, I think it took about 2 minutes to boot up the install CD. strafer
i think reason is graphics card issue. don't select any vga driver at customize process.after install you need to boot with safe mode("-x").try to install that driver and reboot. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=125106 it is worked for me if you have not seen even os installer screen try boot with -x too.
