composer
Hello there! I've been reading a lot about out of the box systems most of which are intel which seem to work with some of the images floating around. Some say stick with 10.4.3 if it's not broken, why fix it? My anwser seems to be that many of the audio cards out their need at least 10.4.4. So with that in mind, I am wondering if anyone has advice on what a good build would be for a Intel BOX that would work well as well as have some future proofing with Intels newer chips to be released in the next 6 months or so? Final Cut is demanding, would love to see a great AMD setup too. My software:Cubase SX, Nuendo, and a few others. Thank you! R22
Just taking a look at my comp spec "signature" everything works fine except the audio left channel. If you're planning to run Final Cut Pro, I suggest alot of RAMs and hard drive space. If you want to be hardcore and get fast performance, try getting a SCSI hard drive or that new SATA 10k Raptor hard drive from Western Digital.
