karekanu
Hi everyone and Good Day I've been trying to install Kalway 10.5.2 with this 4 year old hardware specs Intel Pentium 4(Northwood) 1.8 ghz 1.5 gb RAM (DDR1 PC400) (1X1GB and 1X512MB) GeForce FX 5500 256 MB 8X Vcard 80gb IDE Harddisk Jetway P4X266E-8235 (Via Chipset) Samsung DVD Writer But after loading the darwinx86 and the drivers, the boot installation restarts. Here's the error: Captured by a camera phone ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Darwinx86 boot 5.0.132 1535MB Memory VESA v3.0 256MB (NVIDIA) Loading Darwin/x86 Loading kernel mach_kernel Loading HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] from 422d690 Loading HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] from 422d690 Loading Drivers: Loading from [/system/Library/Extension.mkext] Loading HFS+ file: /System/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 422d690 Loading HFS+ file: /System/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 422d690 (Restarts after this, sometimes i see a IFE or EFI enchance something*.....) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've tried with boot options, like loading other kernels sleepkernel speedstepkernel modbinkernel I've tried rewriting the image 3 times in a row, and verify it, still, it restarts on installation. Could this be this hardware has aged a lot?
