rnorphling
Thanks to all experts here who had given me many infos about building a hackintosh and now Leopard 10.5.5 is working like a charm on my new PC! Although I am still hanging around with the shutdown issue but I can deal with it later. What I am going to deal with first, is how to let XP join my new PC? I have one SATA harddisk with only one partition and installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on it by GUID partition mode. Is it possible for me to dual boot Leopard and XP at this stage? I know many guides are helping people to dual boot this two but all of them are talking about starting with XP first. But I really dont want to restart the whole process again.... ecluley
ooo! im in the same situation! I think though, XP needs an MBR partition rather than guid. I am going to try iPartiton, it ppaently can change your partiton table, if I can get it working! http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iPartition.php Download can be found on the green demon. Using this guide to get the ipartiton cd running: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...ystems_DVD_Hack once disk is MBR i have seen a guide for installing osx first then vista/xp. i shall try to dig it up if I can! Hope that helps for the time being
