cybergalvez Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 Hi all, I am trying to get my wifi to work with 10.5 but so far nothing. I have Dlink wifi card which uses the Atheros chip. Here is the line from lspic (off of linux) Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5212/AR5213 Multiprotocol MAC/baseband processor [168c:0013] (rev 01) I've got an airport entry in network setting, however when I tell it to serach for my network it doensn't find anything, and If I enter the ssid by hand again nothing, so I suspect that the wireless card is not being activated. I've followed most of the "how to"s in this forum on getting the Atheros to work including getting the older IO80211Family.kext and changeing the pci reference from pci168c,1c to pci168c,13 .
