mr_christer Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 hey guys, i use an atheros wireless card in my laptop.i have osx 10.4.5 and the crad was not working out of the box as for most people... somehow i still had to replace the IO80211.kext with the one from 10.4.5 to get it working. don't know why i had an older one installed... anyhow, airport is working now but the symbol in the finder disappears after every restart even if i lock the network preferences... does anyone have a similar problem? i mean its not the worst thing that could happen but somehow still annoying...
