I have a Dell Dimension 8250 running Windows XP. I downloaded Kalyway 10.5.2 and burned the .iso file to a DVD-R and tried to get my computer to boot from the disk. I went to the boot menu, and told it to boot from the CD/DVD drive, and it loaded the Darwin prompt, and I tell it to start the disk, and it automatically restarts and boots normally. Could somebody please help me? I've also tried burning the entire Kalyway folder onto the disk and booting from it and it does the same thing. When I try to boot it on my new Dell Inspiron, (intel core2 duo) it works just fine, installs perfectly, runs fine. I'm thinking it's an issue with what kernel I'm using with my processor.

Edit: It's Kalyway 10.5.2

The specs of my computer are as follows:

Dell Dimension 8250 Approx. 8 years old

Intel Pentium 4 2.66 ghz processor (Yes, it is SSE2)

1.5 gb of ram

Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 256 mb

150 gb hard drive

DVD/CD Read/ReWritable Drive

Perhaps it's just my processor. I know it's SSE2, but it's an old computer and when I got it, Intel Pentium 4 was the best on the market so the computer might just be too old to run it properly. Still, any help anybody might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.
