JCMA90
Hi guys, I finally got the 10.4.5 Installation DVD (thanks to a girl member of this forum), and here is a screenshot of the DVD content. The only thing that I know is that I need to make an extra partition to the hard drive, but which with program? After that what do I need to do for installing it? Thanks, JCMA90 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12979-content-of-os-x86-installation-dvd/ Share on other sites

devilhood
The link Syth0n posted was sufficient, also you could try searching this forum for installation guides as there are tons of threads about this. Also, I have no idea what the point was in posting a picture of the DVD contents Though, someone really needs to put together a guide and make it a sticky in this forum just to avoid similar threads being created. mr_christer
best and easiest way for me was using partition magic make a primary partition which is bigger then 6gb directly behind c: when finished go to start -> run cmd (dos box opens) diskpart select disk 0 list partiton select partition 2 (in my case it was, select the new created one) delete (be sure to delete the right one!!) create partition primary id=af now you created your mac partition now you just have to set it active: select partiton 2 active now you can restart and boot with mac osx cd use disk utility to erase the partition again and then you can install after install went fine, use darwin bootloader to boot back to windows and use diskpart again to set windows partiton active now you can use windows bootloader by putting the chain0 file (search for it at instructions page) to add mac osx as a startup option good luck!
