Monsuco
I have searched all over this forum for a simple step by step guide for this, but have yet to find one. I need to update my machine from 10.5.1 to 10.5.5. I installed my machine using the Kalyway disk. I have downloaded the 10.5.5 DMG from Apple's website, but as I understand it, installing it as is might screw up my installation. Is this true? If so, how do I install 10.5.5 I am using an Intel Pentium 4 CPU with SSE3 running at 3 GHz (it also uses hyper-threading and is a desktop, thus no Speedstep if that matters). I have all other OSX updates (iTunes, etc.) installed. I cannot boot using the kernel that Kalyway installs under custom (when I tried it rebooted endlessly) so instead I use the kernel Kalyway defaults to. I use GUID partitioning and have the EFI loader thing that Kalyway installs. Any linkes to guides on installing 10.5.5 would be apreceated.
