GeForce GO 7300

Recommended Posts

From what I understand 3D acceleration won't work because of the shared vram, but is there a way to at least change the resolution?

Thank you for any help!

Have you changed device id in the kexts? btw mine had 128 MB of dedicated memory. Dunno if that could be the problem.. And when you're messing with the kexts, always do backup so if you do something wrong, just get them back from command line at boot.

You may wanna try my Quadro NVS 110M EFI string (NVS 110M is actually GeForce 7300 Go, just different branding), it gives CI/QE and full colour:

Here's the instruction for how to use EFI gfx string:

PS: Work on both 10.5.4 and 10.5.5

SkyZ you are great :)

I used to have this NVinject GO before.

I also asked for help.. because of my garbled and posterized graphics despite having full video support (CI,QE,QGL.). Using your HEX and following the tutorial.. now my display came to life .. thanks to you ;)

I think that nobody minds if i post here the string so ppl won't spend time looking elsewhere.

My problem is that the screen freezes after Apple logo disappears and blue background appears. The system is working fine on safe mode.

The steps described does not work for my SL 10.6.3 installation with Geforce Go 7300, my problem is still present.

Do you have an alternative solution?
