realityiswhere
Your grub menu entry for OS X is set up completely wrong. the entry for it should look like: title OS X root (hd0,1) makeactive chainloader +1 the way you have it set up now you're trying to boot a non-existent kernel for OS X from the same partition you've got ubuntu installed on... wmarsh
Actually loading OS X like a Linux kernel is a very good idea when chainloading is not working. This is how to do it with pc_efi: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry606752 However, the Chameleon method is better: To use Chameleon with Grub, do the following: 1) Download Chameleon (current version) from chameleon.osx86.hu 2) dd boot1 to the partition you have OS X installed onto. 3) copy boot to the root directory of your OS X partion 4) ignore the boot0 file -- it overwrites grub in your MBR and you don't need it with grub. 5) edit your grub menu.lst file to chainload in the usual manner, I.E.-- my OS X entry now reads: title Mac OSX Leopard rootnoverify (hd?,?) (replace ? with the values Grub uses for OSX partition -- differs from pc_efi method) chainloader (hd?,?)+1 (same values) In your case, (hd0,1) refers to your 2nd partition and should be correct. This is much easier and more standardized, hence I consider the pc_efi method depreciated.
Suprjacob
Try these entries: title OSX root (hd0,1) chainloader (hd0,1)+1 title OSX root (hd0,1) makeactive chainloader +1 title OSX rootnoverify (hd0,1) makeactive chainloader (hd0,1)+1 Maybe one of these will help you. (btw, hd0,2 is your Vista partition ) If these don't work, then I need more info from you regarding your partitioning. Or, it could be a problem with your OSX install.
