drjak
I really want to try OSX on my new Acer. It came with an empty second partition, it's just crying out for it! However, it didn't come with a Vista DVD, and all the turorials for adding OSX to a Vista pc talk about having to repair winload.exe by booting from the DVD. Is there any way round this? I noticed there's a 10GB partition at the beginning of my HDD, which I guess might be a restore partition, but I'm reluctant to try booting it in case it starts mashing my Vista install. Anyone know if Acer restore partitions can do the repair? TIA John
