Treyboy7 Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Ok so i have iATKOS 10.5.1 On my Sony Vaio and i thought it was about time to update to iATKOS 10.5.4 when i boot from the CD i get to the part where it first starts up and says Preparing for installation Process then i get this gray screen and my laptop shutsdown. stats Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 I am extremely new, I had several problems with trying to install on my dell core duo. So i went into bios disabled multi core support and it worked as well as screaming fast now. So try and disable dual core, if u did already sorry, good luck!
