plugwash
Western digital recently released a 500GB hard drive in the correct form factor to fit the macbook. I don't see why it wouldn't work but I'd like to know if anyone else has tried it yet? my macbook is what wikipedia reffers to as the the "mid 2007" model with a 2.16 ghz core 2 duo processor. hackintom
You won't have any problem, don't worry. Just check the size of the HDD you want, some 2.5" 500Gb HDD can't fit in a macbook.

ghoster
Just make sure it's 9.5mm, not 12mm.
