jasch
I installed directtly from DVD, using marklar-tiger (patched with oah750 and oah750d files and mach_kernel from Maxxus) DVD boots ok, installs everything fine. Network, Sounds, Video works great (Motherboard is a D915GUXL with a Pentium 4 3.0/2mb cache). The CPU has SSE3. iTunes crashes, and most things I try to run through rosetta with the "Application unexpectedly quit" error message. I've been reading threads for the last hour, and it seems I need to un-patch some files or restore the original, yet most threads are a little contradictory. How can I make rosetta work OK, since obviously several people managed to get it up and running.. Thanks for any info! I made a DVD to install on 'native' or compatible hardware, and ONLY patched oah750d. Change back to original (from the image of the dvd) for oah750 and mach_kernel and it _might_ work. joneSi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1278-almost-there-osx-works-but-rosetta-crashes/#findComment-7731 Share on other sites

Every case can be different. joneSi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1278-almost-there-osx-works-but-rosetta-crashes/#findComment-7751 Share on other sites
