BumontheRun
I have the same problem. Crashes whenever I add songs, or try and transfer purchases off my ipod. I can add songs individually, but when I add multiple songs it just crashes. Hope someone can tell us what might be wrong because this is the only thing not functioning correctly. Baseballdude2915
First post here, but this will do the trick. ....At-least it did for me..... Just use Marvin's Amd Patch Utility. http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t67917.html Make sure to select your Leopard volume only. I had the itunes/quicktime crash problem yesterday and found a thread on here suggesting to patch using marvin. It did the trick. Being a noob i was concerned it might damage other system files, but it worked perfectly. Good luck. Baseballdude2915
Heres what i did. 1. Choose "Patch All Binaries" under the 4 options on the left. 2. Select your Macintosh HD volume. 3. Click Run.. That did the trick for me. Good luck. Baseballdude2915
I forgot to mention i got that error too. It was with like 4 or 5 Cpuid's left. But i was like "oh well, screw it" I then opened up iTunes and Quicktime with NO PROBLEM. I know its weird, but ateleast in my system, it seemed to have patched those files before the error. Maybe try to totally uninstall both apps, then re-run the patcher, then re-install them, then re-run the patcher. If that doesnt get it, i dont know what will in your case. BumontheRun
Marvins utility wouldn't work for me. Kept giving me a bunch of errors, even when running off of a seperate install and on boot. I ended up reinstalled and then updating using zephyroths asu. Worked great and now I updated to 10.5.5.
