Dual Boot - Shrink Vista Partition to Create Another HFS+

Before I dive into the experiment. . . (and, I don't see much of an issue), but does anyone know if I shrink a 150GB Vista partition to create another ~70GB partition for OS X data, if I will cause an issue to the Kalyway OS X 10.5.4 MBR I have installed -- from booting. I'm currently dual-booting Vista and OS X from the one 250GB drive.

I just want to create an empty parition that can be formatted and mounted in OS X as a data partition since I hardly use Vista on the machine any longer.

Does any one see any problems with this in regards to after the shrink, OS X not wanting to boot for whatever reason?

Thanks!
