Hey!

Today I wanted to test my firewire port and the result was not as good as I hoped:

When I connect the camera nothing happens.

Dsmeg says following:

USBF: 4022.425 [0x6248b00] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 3 of hub @ location: 0xfd000000)

[err in VmObserverThread ] : Forced quit VM (!) id=110183776 -> ../host.Darwin/device.c:424

It looks like USB but it is firewire.

Any idea what should fix the problem?

The port is listet in SystemPreferences as a network device, is this correct? I don't think so.

Thanks for your help
