slimp Posted September 15, 2008 Share Posted September 15, 2008 using the macam extension I am able to use the ps3 eye as a webcam, at least I can get video using the macam application. I can't get sound input from the ps3 mic. doing a google search, it seems folks with regular macs have been successful with the ps3 eye with macam in both video and sound. when the cam is plugged in, there is no choice under sound input, only the default "built in microphone." is there some solution to getting the ps3 eye microphone working on a hackintosh?
