Nickhamm
SSE3 Enabled Celeron D - Office 2004 works 100% including printing to my Canon Printer. Due to lack of Graphics support, Powerpoint animations and transitions are really jerky, but still work. domino
All apps work on 2004. The only update I was able to install was the spam thingy. SP1 refused to install for some reason. setec
If your Office 2004 copy is not legit, and you got it of of bittorrent, the SP1 update won't install, so its not the x86 version. domino
What fool would buy any application to install on an unsupported operating system? I barrowed my application and plan to purchase the full applications when I get a real Mac. Who knows what comes with your bundled product. klapi
Am I the only one who has a problem with Powerpoint when viewing the slideshow? (full screen or whatever you wanna call it) It goes black screen as it does on windows right before displaying the first slide, but in Mac OSX it just shuts down powerpoint at that ... point Anyone who've had the same problem and know a fix? Or a reason? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1260-office-for-mac/#findComment-35908 Share on other sites

Ouch
Yeah, trying to view a slideshow in Powerpoint crashes the program. The rest of Office seems to work fine, though. P4M SSE2, ATI Radeon 7500, 512mb ram I have no problems running slideshows in powerpoint. I'm using a 915G chipset board so it could be to do with not having accelerated graphics support Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1260-office-for-mac/#findComment-38089 Share on other sites
