Artmuzz
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 530 2.4Ghz Core 2 Quad with 8mb L2 cache. I recently updated from Kalyway 10.5.2 to Kalyway ComboUpdate 10.5.3 and there seems to be a problem. The problem is that when I load up system profiler, it says that my L2 cache is only 4mb when actually the L2 cache on my Dell is 8mb. Kalyway 10.5.2 read it as the correct 8mb L2 cache. Strange thing is that ever since updating to kalyway 10.5.3 the system profiler reads the correct computer instead of Mac Pro3,1 but I only have 4mb L2 cache instead of the correct 8mb L2 cache. Is this a common problem? And is there a fix for this? Please advise Artmuzz
dr.nele
it's nothing serious ! mac often show wrong L2 cashe or frequency of memory...probably when kalyway 10.5.4 combo update came out it will fix the problem ! don't worry
Artmuzz
I fixed it. A simple software update to 10.5.4 fixed the problem Artmuzz
