Poe Posted September 11, 2008 Share Posted September 11, 2008 hi everybody, i'm currently using the kalyway 10.5.2 dvd and everything works fine on my p35-ds3r. the HD is plugged into a sata controller which is set on "RAID" in bios... and it boots perfectly. i followed the directions step by step on the "retail dvd guide" sticky and everything installed fine. however, the install will not boot unless i change the controller from "RAID" to "DISABLED." is this a driver issue that can be fixed? i know there's something i CAN do since the kalyway install works perfectly on the raid controller. can anybody shed some light on my situation? PS. if it means anything at all... i've tried using the pcwiz p35 tool thing to install jmicron controller drivers and sata drivers. still didn't work.
