There is something there with ERROR, Firewire and secure mode. I hope you can help me. MGJulius Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 Hey, If the message is "ERROR: Firewire unable to determine security mode, defaulting to full secure" then that's not what's halting you boot. Boot again and then wait about 30 minutes. You're probably getting a "Still Waiting for Root Device" error. EDIT: Also show us a pic of where its halting.
