Lostgame
Hey, my girlfriend is looking to buy a MacBook but her budget rests somewhere between $600-750. This is really important to her for school, etc, but I'm not sure where to find it. I know I got mine for $700 US. I'd appreciate only US and Canadian offers please. Shipping from the UK is the most ridiculous shit ever.
Macshiba
What's really ridiculous is you hoping to find a decent Macbook for that price.
SDRacer48
Do it eBay!!!! I hate eBay, but you can usually find a decent priced MacBook between $600 and $800 USD. I believe most of them are only Core Solos, but it is better than nothing... @Macshiba: It is not as ridiculous as you think. Research my friend, research... kitkat54
What's really ridiculous is you hoping to find a decent Macbook for that price. not really that ridiculous. He specifically said "older" and "low end". A brand new low end macbook is only $1100. Apple is currently selling a refurb for $900: http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB402LL/A Everymac estimates the retail on the old 1.83GHz Core Duo macbook at $700-$850: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macb...cbook_1.83.html On top of that, there is a good chance updates will come next week to the macbook line, which will make every family of macbooks one generation older and knock the price down a bit more.
