mehargags Posted September 3, 2008 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Hi all, I'm trying to install this Intel PRO/1000 PT Quad Port Low Profile Server Adapter in an intel MAC PRO(real mac & not hackintosh). The 4 adaptors on this card gets detected in the system profiler but under 'Driver installed' it says 'NO'. None of the ethernet adaptors from the card are available in the system preferenced ->network too. I googled but could not find anything usable. The Product data sheet says compatible with OS 8 & later. intel's Driver site points to small-tree.com but also says Intel adapters from by Small Tree Communications are uniquely designed and validated on Apple platforms with OS-X drivers. I tried the drivers from small tree but still no luck. Does this mean I have to buy card from small-tree?? Pls help me out with this.
