Fjtorsol
I open this post for those who have this problem to explain their kind of installation and if posible their solutions for ramdom crashes under Leopard 10.5.4. My problems: - When more than one OpenGL apps are open at the same time both will crash in a few minutes with Memory Adrissing Errors. - When I open iCal it crashes with Memory Adrissing Error, arround the forum I found someone who got it to work without the know "Open with Rosetta" solution. - iDVD crashes after loading DVD editing window. - SecondLife crashes ramdomly depending on AppleSMBIOS it will last more or less. - Microsoft Updater from Office 2008 crashes when the updtes are downloaded and ready to be installed (not always but normaly). - CoverFlow shows extrange names in the name label and strange file kinds in the kind label (this happens randomly, seems like a buffer error the abnormal names are from previous items) - The System Preferences app fade effect (when select a preferences panel) doesn't work properly when graphical acceleration is enabled. - Safari crashes a very few times ramdomly with the known memory adressing problem. - Finder crashes when trying to access to certain volumes (CD'S, Disk images) and when the CoverFlow shows abnormal many times. My OS specs: - Jas 10.5.4 (StageXNU Kernel 9.4.0) - AppleSMBIOS (iMac) from macdotnub - AppleACPIPlatform from Jas DVD - ApplePS2Controller from Jas DVD - NVKush from Jas DVD (using original extensions and opengl libraries and frameworks) - AppleAC97Audio from Jas DVD (The rest of the files maybe in their original versions) My hadware specs: - Processor: Pentium 4 Northwood 2.8 GHz (SSE2) (L2 cache recognized as 1MB instead of 512Kb) - 1,5 GB RAM DDR400: 1X1GB Kingston 1X512 CN&C (bios set them to 333MHz) - Motherboard ASUS P4V8X-X (Via PX533) - Leadtek A7300GT TDH (nVidia 7300 GT AGP 8X) (CI & QE)(FastWrites disabled) - HD's: Seagate Barracuda 250GB PATA, Seagate Baracuda 120GB PATA - ViaRhine II Fas Ethernet Adapter - AC97 Audio codec (ADI 1980) - USB 2.0 8 ports - Creatix V.92 Data/Fax Modem
