ptrlsn Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 Hello, I have installed MacOs 10.5.1 (Kalyway) and everything seems to work except my sound card. It is a TerraTec Aureon 5.1 PCI. I have searched the net to see if it is supported, and from what I can see, it is. It is AC97 compatible and I have the AppleAC97Audio.kext. I also have ALCInject.kext. System profiler says I have no PCI cards installed (I have disabled the onboard sound from the bios). Can anyone tell me if this card will work, and if so, what I need to do to get it working? Otherwise, if it does not work with MacOS, can you recommend a cheap PCI sound card?
