itschadwhitaker
I'm putting together a new box. I want to run the vanilla kernal so I now have to do something I havn't done in years. Run on an Intel processor. So I'm a bit rusty with Intel's set up and processors, so if you can please help. I want to run a Intel Core 2 Duo. I was looking at the "E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz" ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115037 ) Seems like a nice speed for the price, has anyone had any experience with this processor? Does it run stable with Mac OS X? OSXproject.org says that it is supported. Also throw any other processors that run nice on hackintoshs. Next... the motherboard I just want a motherboard that runs stable, and obviously runs LGA 775. I don't want any onboard video (I have a PCI-E video card all ready) Thank you.
