ChasingVertigo Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 I got this Acer Aspire 4220 last year, and iatkos 10.4.9 AMD would boot, but it wouldn't see the harddrive. On Leo4ALL's latest release when the SATA HDD is changed to AHCI mode it can see it, however once installed when I try to boot I get the "still waiting for root device..." error. Does anyone have any tips on how to get this working, other things I should be trying or whether it is likely to be possible to get working in the future?
