nordaaa
Hello, mein Mainboard has the HD Audio Device with the Chip ALC882. it's not detected in 10.4.5. I read some where, that i had to replace the AppleAzaliaAudio.kext from 10.4.3. The probleme is, that I installed my 10.4.5 with an Install DVD, so no old 10.4.3 system. So someone can perhaps provide me this file? Mail it to my mail address: carl921@gmx.de or FTP/HTTP address? thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12341-alc882-945g-onboard-hd-audio-error/ Share on other sites

thrunner
mein Mainboard has the HD Audio Device with the Chip ALC882.Please do a search, one such thread for ALC882 is here, you DON'T need any kext from 10.4.3, just need to edit AppleAzaliaAudio.kext and delete the AppleHD.kext: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...indpost&p=70358Use ioreg -l under Mac terminal to find your chipset and vendor ID.
