eggy524 Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Hi there, I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop: Pentium M 1.7Ghz 1GB memory Ati X300 graphics card. I have tried installing various versions of OSX on it from Kalyway to iAtkos. The only two that actually complete the install are Kalyway 10.5.1 and iAtkos v4i, the rest kernel panic. Now my problem is that on the two editions that actually complete the install, the welcome screen doesnt appear at first boot. The apple logo screen appears with the loading wheel but after that the screen just goes gray and the intro music starts to play. Any ideas what could be wrong?
