blackentangled
i don't think the monitor matters much (as long as it's not limited to 1024x768@60hz, it's the graphics card that you should get worried about. authortitle
My PC came with a BenQ FP731 17" flat screen and it's great. 1280*1024 native resolution, and it handles resizing lower resolution pretty well (of course, they look "smoothed", but it's not excessively ugly). No problems with it all, and the sharpness is a lot better than my friends Samsung one. It's not got a DVI input but to be honest I don't think there'd be any difference, it looks perfect. Bearcat
I used a Viewsonic VX724, 17" 1280x1024. Nice monitor, bright, contrast good, colors good. But I wanted a wide-screen so I bought a Viewsonic VX2025wm, 20" 1680x1050, also a nice monitor, bright, good contrast, and nice colors. Both had VGA and DVI-D inputs.
