maroder
Hi, I have my Leopard 10.5.4 Retail-Installation with Chameleon up and running perfectly on my first SATA-Drive (1. Port / GUID) of the Intel ICH9-Controller. Now I want to install Vista on my second SATA-Drive (3. Port, because my SATA-DVD ist on Port 2 of the ICH9-Controller). Can anyone point me how to do this right? I really do not want to destroy my OSX-Installation, because I finally got it perfect. Help really would be greatly appreaciated! Mr Mylan Man
I'd kinda like to know as well, although my situation is the opposite, I have Windows on one hard drive, and I'll be putting OS X onto another hard drive. So far I haven't had any success getting OS X to boot, but I think my image was faulty (as well as some BIOS settings that were apparently off). mintslice
I've got this setup - all I did was remove one drive altogether (the one with windows and all my data already on it) and do a clean boot with only the new drive attached. Everything works fine, and with a couple of little apps I can successfully read and write to and from both drives from either OS. The only drawback is I have to go into the bios to change the actual boot hard disk to change OS's. I've found no reliable way to actually get a boot screen for installs on two separate physical disks. It doesn't really bother me though, so I've given up. P.S. FIRST POST!!!
