Even the installation doesn't work. I booted the DVD, i got stuck at the with screen w/ the grey apple. I rebooted, started the install in verbose mode, and i see what the problem is, but I have no idea what it means.

I have attached a picture I took of the screen, but it didn't come out very well. I hope it helps.

Thanks guys,

Dazed

*EDIT* hmmm.... the picture doesn't seem to have uploaded. Is there a file size restriction?

I don't know. But convert it into png or jpg.

We need you machine setup as well as what version of OS X you're installing as well as the diagnostic messages when booting with -v.

Oh right, yes, my specs might help. LOL. Sorry, a little on the tired side.

Here they are:

Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe

Athlon64 X2 4800+

2x Corsair 1GB XMS3500 DDR433

Asus Extreme N7800GT DUAL (most people seem unfamiliar with this card, so... basically its like running 2 7800GTs in SLi on a single card, it has two GPUs)

Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro

WD 150GB SATA II Raptor

Maxtor 300GB SATA DiamondMax (I wish to install to this drive, during installation I disabled the other drive from BIOS)

I am trying to install OS X 10.4.4

as far as the picture goes... it is in *.jpg format. I tried converting it to PNG and it did not help.

If I try the install again, is there any way to save a log of the error messages?
