I followed some guides, to install osx with diskpart and so on...

but when i try to boot the dvd , to install os x, darwin show me some lines, and then reboots.

This is an image (from vmware), but is the same to the native installation errors.

I have used 10.4.4 Generic Patched DVD to install OS X on a Vaio VGN-A297XP similar spec except I have 512MB ram and a P4M 1.80Mhz.

The DVD takes a *long* time to boot up. Perhaps 10-15 minutes (all the time the dvd drive is making a lot of noise). If you haven't pressed F8 it'll be on the Apple screen.

Once it has done so the installation continues fine.

Dunno if that helps?

(I still haven't actually got the installed osx to run the GUI though, so I'd be interested to hear if you get it to work).

you're not going to see the grey apple screen with the version you have....

idk why it would restart after that though

and also...those aren't errors...that's normal with this version

you might want to try and reinstall...it can't hurt ;p

;) i haven't install osx yet

i made the primary partition last night, and now i'm try installing osx.

As shown by image below, after i press f8, and put some options [-x , -v] , Darwin shows me these lines, and then reboots pc.
