You provide no real information so how can anyone knowledgeable help you?

Does your card support 802.11a/b/g or just 802.11b/g?

What are the ID's for the card?

What hardware is this plugged into?

04:02.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC [168c:0013] (rev 01)
Subsystem: Global Sun Technology Inc Trust Speedshare Turbo Pro Wireless PCI Adapter [16ab:7302]
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 18
Memory at e5000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2

Thanks for BuildSmart

What is the next step? ;)

Did you even look to see if a custom driver exists for your device???

Luckily for you I recently made one for someone else and had the sense to upload a copy here, SEE: YOUR DRIVER.

Did you try the driver???

Did it work for you???

Would be nice to let others know if it works on the card you have cause they may have the same card.

Hi,

No, it doesn`t work.

I`ve done everything like in this post:

Here is the installation command: place archive at drive root, include parenthesis in command, enter password when prompted

(cd /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ && sudo tar xzf /AR5001X.tar.gz)

But my WiFi card still doesn`t work.

Any ideas?

Try:
sudo kextload -vt /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AR5001X.kext

and see what it happens.

kextload: resolving dependencies for kernel extensions with validation and authentication failures
kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AR5001X.kext has problems:
Missing dependencies:
{
"com.apple.iokit.IO80211Family" =
	"A valid compatible version of this dependency cannot be found"
}

OK so we've established that you have a fuqed up IO80211Family kext, probably the result of you trying all kinds of other IO80211Family kexts like ones from 10.4 or something cause you followed a clueless persons tutorial.

I've tested that extension on a real Mac, two 100% vanilla 10.5 hack desktop boxes and a hack laptop and I have never seen or experienced the issue you're having, a number one reason why I'm not a iAtkos, Leo4All or any other installer fan is that they screw with extensions and stuff cause they think they know what they are doing.

Perform a fresh vanilla install and you should be fine.
