Hi all,

Ok I have tried the three different versions and have little success. First off, here is the hardware:

Asus P5K SE/EPU

ATI 2600XT 512MB

320GB SATA2

Q9300 Intel chip

4GB DDR 800mhz Kingston of ram (with 4 more coming which will be a total of 8GB)

First attempt was:

Leo4Allv3-10.5.2

This is the version that I went the furthest with. I get through the install up to the one minute remaining, then it freezes. I have tried different kernels, with the same settings:

Intel ICHx

2600XT(PCIE)

Network I leave blank in the last 2/3 times I have tried

Select the printer drivers

Second:

iATKOS 4i

Freezes on the boot.

Third: (which frustrate me the most since this one seem the best bet for me based on what I read)

Kalyway 10.5.2

This one stops in the boot because it is looking for a PS2 mouse and a PS2 Keyboard. If some one knows how to turn that off PLEASE tell me since I am using a USB mouse and keyboard.

I know people have installed it with the same graphic card, CPU, and motherboard. I need some help, or advice on how to proceed. I don't mind changing the graphic card if need be, but it would be a pain to change the motherboard as well (assuming that is not the issue). I am willing to put time into this, but if I need to change the graphic card or motherboard I need to know soon to be able to return them.

Thanks

iATKOS 4.0i is freezing due to your DVD drive. If you use an external USB drive it will boot as long as the DVD is good. I had the same problem. I am now looking for specific drivers for my hardware. Mine is booting though.

Thanks for the info. I cannot remember where I found the mention, but some one posted that Leo4all v2, was working for some hardware, but not everything, so I gave it a go (which was also my self imposed last ditch attempt with this configuration). It was slower to "install" then v3, but it worked. It did not freeze. Now I just have to install the network drivers then see about updating it, maybe.... why update something that works and get issues....

If some one can actually tell me how to install the same thing with a legal version, please tell me. I will gladly pay for this software, but it's got to work with my hardware.
