djet
Okay, so I've got a spiffy Airport Extreme (n) that runs like a charm for my whole family, but if I dare to enter XP on my Macbook, oh no! I get awful coverage. I will lose the signal about every 10 minutes then have to disconnect (although Windows says that it is "not connected") then I click connect, then it hangs on loading, (but actually connects to the network in the background. That sounds like a whole lot of blame on Windows, but I may be doing something stupid on my end. I'm sitting about 10 feet from the airport, it's running on N, it's broadcasting at full power, automatic channel, and I have updated my driver about 20 times.... My wireless card is an Atheros 5008. Any ideas? EDIT: Lol literally right after I posted this topic I lost the signal. FrankOS_Scripting
I had the driver for the Atheros E5007EG with the installer and for me, it's works fine! Try this driver instead of bootcamp driver? I can say one thing: Atheros is {censored} technology Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118682-awful-wireless-service/#findComment-840747 Share on other sites
