digitallysick
download this Geekbench64 when it asks for a serial hit quit, but the app should still run, if it runs, its 64bit, if not, then you are 32bit Depending on your processor you can change your kernel to the 64bit one. I was running vanilla 32bit, and i switched to modbin 64bit. By the way, Does someone know the latest iATKOS_4i dvd ( Inside DVD, the stock kernel option ) is 10.5.4 Vanilla kernel ? Gujal
open terminal and type the following ls -l /mach_kernel if the file size is around 10MB, then it is probably vanilla kernel. All patched kernels are under 6MB generally also type the following command uname -a This will show the version of the kernel. 10.5.4. kernel is version 9.4.0 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118526-how-can-i-know-my-leopard-is-64bit-or-32bit/#findComment-840658 Share on other sites
MacNutty
I had the same question. I think I got the answer by using -v at boot prompt. Some where it showed me Darwin 64 bit. So I think mine is 64 bit. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118526-how-can-i-know-my-leopard-is-64bit-or-32bit/#findComment-840871 Share on other sites
