I use the Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel/AMD DVD to boot my pc, and just got a line of error message: Memory allocation error ( 0x0000, 0x8000 ) What does it mean, and how can i get over it? My pc is HP dc5750, CPU: AMD 5000+, RAM:512MB*2, Motherboard: unknown. Harddisk: samsang 160G sata and seagate 320GB sata. video: Geforce 8400 GS. TexasRed1974 Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I get the same error on an HP dc5750 also. It appears to happen after the post, but just before Darwin begins to load...I don't even get a chance to hit F8 for load options. If I boot the machine without the USB mouse plugged in, and then plug it back in while waiting the five seconds where I can hit F8, it boots fine. USB thumb drives don't seem to cause the error, just USB input devices. Anyone else have a thought?
