may ask you to create a newer patched kernel with 9.7?

or help me to create myself?

if you're interested in Vanilla kernel 9.7.0 with tsc sync patched, send me a private message.

Unfortunatly, the -tscsync command is useless.

And why do not share it here, instead of forcing people to send you Pm's...?

Cause my username is in the kernel rev ? and it's just for testing, i'm cleaning this {censored},

and I need to review something about PE_parse*

Pepere,

Please check your PM. Been waiting to try your kernel. THanks.

kernel is on the first page. i'm making a diff now and will post it.

Thanks a lot, cosmo1t!

Works great.

The only thing I noticed – CPU-i shows that i have CPU0 only (one core instead of CPU0 and CPU1).

But sysinfo and all tests shows that CPU works fine, at full strength and both cores are active.

;)

Thanks again!

10.5.8 is out.

Just upgraded without a trouble.

Now " will wait for the 9.8 kernel.

:)

Thanks for all your work, guys!

You didn't have trouble with Airport with 10.5.8 update? I restored 10.5.7 IO80211Family.kext to fix, but must boot every time with -f flag in order for Airport to work. That's the only bug I have with 10.5.8 (other than sleep) with my D620. Awaiting 10.5.8 kernel patch!

Didn't have those problems. All's fine (including sleep), except the kernel.

Moreover, I removed all GFX strings and right now using the "autodetect" feature of the new Cameleon RC2.

Yesterday has updated nVidia drivers from their website. Without 2-nd core it's hard to say about performance boost/degrade...

Okay, Autodetect does not work with Intel, so there's one easy solution for you I can't use. Still looking for an Intel EFI string that works on this system.

I wonder what card you used to replace your intel wifi card? That may be the difference why your airport is still working right. I noticed some threads elsewhere that Apple is replacing incompatible (older) airport cards that are not functioning correctly with 10.5.8 update. I think I have the Original Dell B/G card in mine. Something newer might not have the problem. I may swap cards with my D630 A/G/N card and see what happens. A new kernel for 10.5.8 is going to be really nice.
