labria
Yes it does. For more info use the search function. Or just go to a certain site and download the patch. blackentangled
i recall from a previous post that they backed up their loginwindow.app(?) and then returning it in place after the security update. if you don't have a backup of your loginwindow.app then it's a reinstall for you... marliwahoo
I think the best way is to use pacifist to install this update. Simply skip the loginwindow protion of the install. Works great and it's very easy. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11631-security-update-2006-001-intel-v10/#findComment-73301 Share on other sites
TokinDerrick
everybody just ignored mine. people there is a file you can download from a torrent search engine (iso) and all you have to do is unzip it, and its just like installing it normally. its about 23mb, not a big download. This worked for me. kaos Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11631-security-update-2006-001-intel-v10/#findComment-73478 Share on other sites
bgrau
I installed over 10.4.3 8f1111 using MacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso on vwmare 5.5.1. It used to show that the processor had sse3 capability (which it has, its ht pentium 4 3GHZ), but after install and patching maxxuss_patch_solution_v1.0a_1045-secupd2006-001, it now shows that it supports only up to sse2! Any ideas why, and how to get the sse3 recognised after the install? Help appreciated Billy Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11631-security-update-2006-001-intel-v10/#findComment-73544 Share on other sites
