guide a mac Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 1. i installed Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD and now i can not boot without the cd 2. my system does not recognise ani USB device including my ipod nano so now i cant import any files to my osx! mac_maestro Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Make sure the USB device is plugged in when you boot. Otherwise, it might not recognise. If you have usb problems, check the other threads in this forum about that. As for the boot, if you can get it to boot with the Cd in, try to get a copy of osx86 tools and install chameleon. Otherwise, do a google search for chameleon bootloader and you'll get the files and a tutorial for installing. guide a mac Posted July 20, 2008 Author Share Posted July 20, 2008 boot problem solved. it was commun sense. i entered BIOS and put my hard disk in boot first priority and everything work fine now the usb problem is not solved yet. hackintosh only recognise my ipod but nothing else. can anyone help?
