So i finally got 10.4.4 running natively along side my other 3 OSes. Created the partition in XP using diskpart as instructed in many guides. Well, you still have to "Erase" The partition using Disk Utilities, which then "configures the partition table" after its done. Ugh. PartitionMagic throws errors like crazy, but gladly can fix them. What is up with this... is it the OS itself that cant partition correctly, or did something get screwy when it got patched.

Partition Magic don't see the partition table very well, even that it says it's bad it works, I use other partition tools/programs and they still see the partitions.

Will have to try that program... It was my XP partition that got screwy... the last part of it according to PartitionInfo. I've got a 60gb with 4 partitions ( 250MB Dos, Win311 [w00t] // 5.5GB WinXP // 6GB OSX // The Rest as storage). Finally just ghosted the XP to where OSx is installed now (was empty), deleted and recreated the partition and all works again. Something about the starting sector and number of sectors was inconsistent with what the partition table said.

It was just PM that had problems reading it... diskpart and the disk management mmc seemingly saw everything ok, but i have more faith that PM knew what it was talking about.

Also, to get OSX installed and running correctly, i DID have to make my first 3 partitions Primary -- it just wouldnt work inside an Extended.
