Zedric
I just installed 10.4.5 on 10 GB drive. The drive before held an installation of Ubuntu. The installation ran fine (did the -v just in case) up to the reboot. After the "MACH Reboot" message, nothing happened. So after a while I reset the computer (misstake?) and tried to boot off the hdd. All i get is a GRUB Error 17 (which is "can't mount selected partition"). It seems GRUB is still in the boot sector, trying to find and boot Ubuntu. Well that won't happen since I removed all partitions and created a new one (type AF) before installing OSX. So anyway, what did I miss? Should I somehow have removed GRUB from the boot sector before the installation? Can I do it afterwards (and what goes instead)? I'm soooo clooose.
