nate-the-great
So i can get osx to boot natively on my dual opteron 246 system. osx recognizes 2 cpu's and everything, only thing, rosetta seems to not be working as I can not run itunes. (safari runs though.) i downloaded maxxus' v.4 patch but that causes my machine to hang on the grey apply logo splash screen. a -v reveals that it's hanging on something to do with vram. a -x gives me kernel panic. and i tried platform=x86pc and that didn't work either. also tried deleting all the intel related kexts. is there a step im missing? I've searched here, 360hacker, and win2osx and found nothing. any help would be apprecitated.
cyrana
Hmm, have you tried just installing the deadmoo image and then -only- patching CoreGraphics to the SSE3 version? Well, that only works in a Rev. E 246, not sure which one you have.
