DarkGhostHunter
I readed a lot of threads in the forums, even some italian ones. After all that, i don't know what to do. First, I *NEED* Leopard (Final Cut and Stuff) and Vista (AVID) in a Striped RAID 0 by Hardware. The problem is what to do in order to make that. Thanks to JMicron, I have patched the Kalyway 10.5.2 with Chamaleon PPF "bootloader" or whatelse supossed to be that patch, and walá, Leopard installed. But, i realized that de RAID 0 by hardware wasn't recognized by the Leopard Installation. So, without Hardware Raid, only with Software Raid and GUID, i can't install Vista. And, only with Hardware Raid, can only install OS X. All the hardware is compatible for sure, but the problem resides on that: Leopard + Vista + Dual Boot + RAID 0 by Hardware (ICH9). God help us. DarkGhostHunter
Okey. I realized this. You can't do it because: 1) Leopard doesn't recognize Hardware RAID, at least, in any integrated motherboard chip (ICHX, VIA, SiS, AMD, etc). You need a compatible RAID controlled bought separately. With Hardware RAID, you will only have Vista & Linux. 2) Vista doesn't recognize Software RAID. Software RAID is just partitioning a two or more disks using GUID, witch Vista won't recognize in Software RAID. With Software RAID, you will only have OS X. Solutions: Buy another SATA controller OS X Compatible if you want Vista+OS X. Use one this for Vista, another for OS X, and another for Linux. Kill yourself.
