asdffasfsad
Hello!!! I have a Compaq EVO (desktop pc). Specs: Intel Pentium IV 1.5GHZ MMX SSE SSE2 (i checked with cpu-z) 512 RAM Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS 32mb I tried to install Leo4allv2 and Leo4allv3.... but with no success... before this i installed leo4allv3 on a pentium 4 3.2ghz mmx sse sse2.... everything went smooth... according to this wiki : http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...allation_Guides, my compaq meets all conditions for installing macos... but all it does when i boot from the installation cd, is that it loads a few kext's(4-5) and then restarts ... Any ideas on how to install mac os on this computer? maybe some bios tweaks or something else... P.S if you think that the only solution is to throw this pc away just put an smile....i will understand P.S2 Sorry for my bad english. gcn2000xl
I just installed iDeneb v1 10.5.4 on the D510 last night with ease. Installer boots with just -v. I selected only the 9.2.0 sleep kernel and the ICH option under chipset. Installed in a half hour and boots fast. Still have some things to figure out moving forward but, there you go! A successful 10.5.4 installation on the first try isn't a bad start! If anyone knows any other options that would work on this that I should have selected, kindly add to this topic. kalzone
Hi gcn2000xl; I have Evo d510 as well and I am new to installing os x. I would like to dual boot with xp. Are there any perticular instructions that I should follow. There was another section that noted that I need to disable the integrated graphics and install a new nvidia AGP, any ideas here. Do both network cable and sound work? Also. any problems with screen saver? Thanks in advance for you reply. kz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113865-osx86-on-compaq-evo-help/#findComment-992419 Share on other sites
