Any guides yet to install 10.5.4 update? Will the 10.5.3 combo update guides work the same? I found a good one then, I hope I can find it again.
10.5.4 isn't a major update if your running a core 2 duo you should be able to just install via software update
If you want a stable system, wait until someone else tries to upgrade to 10.5.4 :(
Hiya Doix how goes it?

update seems to have speeded up my internet slightly!

Yea, I just performed the updates and have no issues whatsoever.

Dear TerraPhantm,

I noticed you have a Razer mouse icon on your dock. I have a Razer Copperhead, do you know if my Razer is supported by your drivers? Also, where did you download the drivers from? Help is greatly appreciated!

Best regards,

Hmm, I'm not sure. I have a Razer Deathadder, and I knew Razer released a Mac edition of the deathadder so I just grabbed the drivers for that mouse. I'd try installing this. As far as I know, the Pro|Click 1.6 is just a white diamondback, so the software from that might work.

You are all running C2D so none of these "it worked for me" comments are any use for people with P4, PD and AMD. In fact, the posts here could mislead newbies with these early CPUs into thinking it is a straightforward software upgrade when it is not. Please be more descriptive to help others.

I see most people missed this part!?

"Download the update installer and run it manually. This is a useful option when you need to update multiple computers but only want to download the update once. These versions of the standalone installers are available from Apple Support Downloads. The Mac OS X 10.5.4 Update is recommended for all versions of Mac OS X 10.5 through 10.5.3.

  • The delta update lets you update from Mac OS X 10.5.3 to 10.5.4
  • The combo update lets you update from Mac OS X 10.5, 10.5.1, 10.5.2, or 10.5.3 to 10.5.4"

Just thought it might answer more questions?
